This policy explains what information authorprime.com (the "Site") collects and how we use it. The Site is operated by Flackable, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company doing business as AuthorPrime ("AuthorPrime," "we," "us" or "our"). This policy covers the Site only. Information shared during a book project is governed by the confidentiality terms of your service agreement.

What the Site collects

The Site has no accounts and no comment features. When you book a consultation on our booking page, the embedded Microsoft Bookings tool asks for your name, email address, phone number and any notes you add; Microsoft processes that information on our behalf and the appointment goes on our calendar. If you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number and the details of your inquiry. We do not ask for or collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account numbers or health information through the Site.

When you visit, our hosting provider and our analytics service automatically record standard technical information, including your browser and device type, language, the site that referred you, the pages you view and the date and time of each request.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes a truncated IP address. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The Site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and runs no advertising pixels. The Microsoft Bookings tool on our booking page may set its own cookies, which Microsoft's privacy statement governs. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the Site will still work. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where our systems receive them.

How we use information

We use the information described above to respond to your inquiries, schedule and prepare for consultations, provide services you request, understand and improve the Site, keep the Site secure and meet legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations. We do not send cold outreach and we do not buy contact lists. If we start a newsletter or marketing email, we will update this policy first, and every message will include a one-click unsubscribe link.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, trade it or rent it. Service providers process information only on our behalf and under our instructions: our email, calendar and booking provider (Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Bookings), Google Analytics, and our website hosting provider and its security and backup services. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, property or safety or those of others, or in a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case we will note the change on this page.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward. Records of an engagement are kept for as long as the service agreement and legal or tax rules require. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings. We delete information we no longer need.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete information we no longer need, give you a copy of the information you provided, or stop emailing you. Send requests to info@flackable.com. We will respond within 45 days and may need to verify your identity first. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as that law defines those terms.

If you visit from outside the United States, your information is processed in the United States. We process it because you contacted us, because you requested our services, or because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing the Site.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information. No website or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email info@flackable.com and we will delete it.

Other websites

The Site links to other websites, including flackable.com and online book retailers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
